Analyst Vacancy (Calgary)

Trebuchet Capital Partners (“Trebuchet”) a private equity real estate firm is seeking an Analyst for its family of funds. We are looking for talented candidates with two to three years of real estate experience. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to underwriting and deal sourcing but also to portfolio management and asset management activities for industrial, development, multifamily asset types. The right candidate would have previous real estate experience with an interest in joining a global real estate platform and expanding his or her skill set to different areas of the real estate investment business.

The position would support Originators and Asset Managers in the following activities:

· Analyzing and underwriting new transactions

· Cash flow modeling, real estate due diligence, assistance with investment memo writing

· Providing assistance from the investment approval to closing process

· Supporting the monitoring and asset management of existing loans, including the review of financial statements, rent rolls and lease agreements

· Assisting with all reporting

· Participating in various projects including equity acquisitions and portfolio management as well as dispositions research and strategy projects

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

· 2-3 years of related work experience in real estate investments or lending

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related field but not mandatory

· Quantitative and analytical skills complemented by excellent Excel,Word, and Power Point/InDesign skills

· Argus, hadoop, machine learning, tableau, experience is a strong plus

· Understanding of discounted cash flow modeling, real estate fundamentals and capital structures

· Creative writing skills

· Rugged Individualist
